Core privileges include the procedures listed and such other procedures that are extensions of the same techniques and skills
Amputations, upper extremity, lower extremity
Aneurysm repair, abdominal aorta and peripheral vessels emergent and elective
Angioplasty, femoral, iliac
Assess/stabilize/determine dispositions of patients with emergent conditions
Bypass grafting all vessels excluding coronary and intracranial vessels
Carotid endarterectomy
Carotid Stenting
Cervical, thoracic or lumbar sympathectomy
Diagnostic biopsy or other diagnostic procedures on blood vessels
Embolectomy or thrombectomy for all vessels excluding coronary and intra cranial vessels
Endarterectomy for all vessels excluding coronary
Endovascular Repair of Thoracic (TAA) and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA)
Extra cranial carotid and vertebral artery surgery
Hemodialysis access procedures
Intraoperative angiography
Intraoperative angioplasty, balloon dilatation
Management, diseases/disorders or the arterial/venous/lymphatic circulatory systems (excludes intracranial vessels or the heart)
Other major open peripheral vascular arterial and venous reconstructions
Performance of Carotid Duplex
Peripheral Vascular Interventions to Include Diagnostic and Therapeutic Angiography, Angioplasty and Stenting
Placement of inferior vena cava (IVC) filter
Provide care to patients in the ICU
Reconstruction, resection, repair of major vessels with anastomosis or replacement (excluding cardiopulmonary, intracranial)
Sclerotheray
Temporal artery biopsy
Thoracic outlet decompression procedures including rib resection
