Privilege Viewer - Privilege Detail - Training: Successful completion of an approved residency in Pediatrics. Certification of training and of competency shall be made by the applicant's Program Director. This category shall include complex or severe illness or potentially life-threatening problems usually requiring skills acquired upon completion of a Pediatric residency. Consultation with a pediatric sub-specialist or a medical/surgical sub-specialist should be obtained if the patient's condition remains obscure or unresponsive to the usual diagnostic or therapeutic measures. Those privileges addressed in Category I are included within Category II.
