Privileges include performance of specific medical procedures, as well as related admission, (...) consultation, and work-up, to correct or treat various medical conditions, illnesses and injuries. Unless otherwise indicated, General Internal Medicine privileges are applicable to both Westfield Hospital and Noblesville Hospital.

HYPERBARIC MEDICINE (Hyperbaric Medicine privileges are only applicable to Noblesville Hospital) CATEGORY (...) I PRIVILEGES: Physicians with these privileges have met the entire minimum threshold criteria described above and can perform and direct routine hyperbaric medicine treatments and could provide emergency hyperbaric medicine treatments in consultation with a physician holding category 2 clinical privileges. They would be expected to request consultation or supervision when: * The diagnosis and/or management remain in doubt over an unduly long period of time, especially in the presence of life-threatening illness, * Unexpected complications arise which are outside the physician's level of competence and experience, or * Specialized treatment or procedures are contemplated with which the physician is not familiar.
